Ever since Warner Bros. Discovery’s leadership of the studio started, there have been questions about the future of its animation projects, especially with the cancellation of some of the projects that were airing or supposed to air on HBO Max. We also know that Gunn and Safran are planning more animated projects as part of the DCU and there is a likelihood now that they are going to be part of this deal which would mean that it won’t be on HBO Max which houses most of the DC projects. Since the negotiations of their deal are still ongoing, we should be hearing more details about this in the coming weeks or months, especially the specifics in terms of the titles that are heading to the platform as a result of the deal.
