In Spy x Family Episode 10, Damian Desmond’s friends Emile Elman and Ewen Egeburg talk about Damian’s older brother who excelled in his classes and has numerous Stellas. The boys decide that Damian should receive his first Stella by becoming the MVP at an upcoming interclass dodgeball game.
The boys are not the only ones with that goal. Becky Blackbell tells Anya Forger that the MVP at the dodgeball match will receive a Stella and she immediately shares the information with Loid Forger. Anya then begs her mother to help her train for the game and Yor Forger quickly agrees to help the girl. Anya’s training somehow overwhelms her but she pushes through to make sure she gets the Stella. When the day of the game arrives, the Cecile Hall students are shocked to find that the Wald Hall team is led by a large boy named Bill Watkins. Interestingly, Bill is also determined to receive a Stella as MVP of the game and immediately gets to work. It doesn’t take long before most of the Cecile Hall players are taken down and Bill turns his attention on Anya. However, she manages to dodge his attacks, which impresses Damian and the others. Unfortunately, Anya trips while avoiding being out of bounds and Bill immediately strikes. At first, Damian decides that he shouldn’t do anything since he is set on his goal. But at the last minute, he steps in and protects Anya from the ball.
It’s an awesome move that should give Anya the upper hand. However, she ends up throwing the ball weakly at Bill, who immediately eliminates her and wins the game. Amazingly, Henry Henderson reveals that a Stella will not be awarded to the MVP, causing chaos among the students. Spy x Family Episode 11 is titled Stella (“Sutera”) and will be based on the manga’s Chapter 16. The episode will air on June 18, 2022.
