Joining Pedro Pascal’s Joel and Bella Ramsey’s Ellie are Lamar Johnson who will play Henry and Keivon Woodard as Sam in the upcoming post-apocalyptic TV series of The Last of Us on HBO as confirmed in a report from IGN.
Also joining the cast would be Graham Greene who would portray Marlon and Elaine Miles as Florence who will be guest stars in HBO’s The Last of Us series. These roles are new to the title as they have no counterpart in the game.
Henry and Sam’s storyline is one of the originals from the game where they met Joel and Ellie in Pittsburgh where they team up to survive the infected and other human hunters. They also have philosophical discussions pertaining to religion.

However, in the upcoming series of The Last of Us on HBO, Joel and Ellie would be meeting Henry and Sam in a different city instead of Pittsburgh. They would encounter each other in Kansas City. As for Marlon and Florence, they would be met by the team somewhere in Wyoming.
The Last of Us will follow Joel, a smuggler who would have to escort Ellie through a post-apocalyptic United States plagued with the infected and human hunters.
Gabriel Luna is also set to take on a new role in The Last of Us where he would play Tommy, a former soldier and the younger brother of Joel. Along with Luna are Ashley Johnson, Nick Offerman, and Troy Baker who both have unannounced roles.
HBO’s The Last of Us is expected to be released in early 2023.
