There has been numerous speculation over the last couple of months surrounding the ever-so-controversial actress’ future in the franchise and following her defamation lawsuit loss to Johnny Depp, Amber has been experiencing a downward spiral with her acting career. Now, it looks like she has finally been removed from the upcoming Aquaman sequel.According to DCEU scooper Syl Abdul, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom recently went through reshoots with “almost everyone” from the cast. Obviously, this suggests that Amber might have been excluded from filming. Intriguingly, the scooper also claims that Mera was actually part of the reshoots but the identity of the actress who played the character is being kept under wraps. Now, common sense would tell you that the mystery actress’ identity was concealed because WB Discovery might have already recast the controversial actress and is keeping everything as airtight as possible to prevent spoilers. The fact that they’re still keeping him on board despite his issues suggests that Amber will remain in the DCEU as well.
