According to The Illuminerdi, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is set to have nine episodes and is being categorized as a limited series. That would mean that it will have the same episode count as WandaVision and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It is unknown if the series will also have similar runtime as the two. In addition, the report also claimed that head writer Jac Schaeffer will direct at least one episode of the series while Brazilian-American director Gandja Monteiro is also being tapped to helm at least one episode as well. So far, Marvel has not confirmed any of these details so we still have to take it with a grain of salt for now. However, the site has reported a lot of accurate exclusive scoops in the past so there is a strong likelihood that this information will end up being true.

Considering that its parent series WandaVision ran for nine episodes, it is not surprising that the Agatha Harkness-centric spinoff will receive the same treatment and this is exciting news for fans since it would mean that they will spend plenty of weeks watching the series. Schaeffer’s potential involvement as director sounds like a promising move for the series since she’s already been involved in the MCU for a significant amount of time at this point and she is also an experienced filmmaker as proven by her past resume. Meanwhile, Monteiro’s potential involvement in the series comes as she previously helmed episodes of TV shows such as Vida, The Chi, Brand New Cherry Flavor, and the upcoming highly-anticipated Netflix series Wednesday where she helmed at least two episodes.
